Susan Zbikowski, PhD,Senior Vice President, Research, Evaluation & Training

Dr. Zbikowski is an expert in translational research and routinely seeks opportunities to prove treatments effective in the context of existing health behavior change programs so that findings can be readily disseminated. As Senior Vice President at Alere Wellbeing, she identifies research studies critical to our mission and that of the greater scientific community, and she and her team of scientists seek and secure funding for these studies. She is also an Affiliate Investigator at the Group Health Research Institute. Dr. Zbikowski's research areas include: health improvement research, behavioral medicine, treatment adherence and engagement, using technology to improve health. She has been an investigator on over a dozen grants funded the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, states and private foundations. She has published over 45 peer-reviewed journal articles on the topic of smoking cessation and frequently speaks at national conferences. Dr. Zbikowski completed her M.S. and Ph.D in Developmental Psychology at the University of Memphis and received her B.A. in Psychobiology at Wellesley College.
