Marie Gahler, Senior Manager, Weight and Nutrition Education Services
Marie has more than 25 years experience in treating obesity and weight related health behaviors and continues to be inspired by the efforts and success of those who strive to improve their health and weight. She received her bachelor’s degree in Health Education from the University of Washington. Marie worked in community education both at Planned Parenthood and as an instructor at the Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut, CA. She managed health education services to 143,000 members while with Kaiser Permanent Anaheim Hills, CA. Marie has managed medically supervised weight loss programs for Optifast and Health Management Resources.
Marie currently manages the Accomplish Bariatric Nutrition Services program and develops curriculum for Weight Talk. Staying active and eating right has always been a part of her life - and she really does believe it keeps you young!
