Erin has a passion for encouraging people to see hope in their lives and the possibilities of a healthier, happier, richer tomorrow. Having walked alongside loved ones who have battled addictions and those who have struggled with weight management, Erin has great compassion for how difficult it can be to face such challenges. She loves working for Alere Wellbeing because she believes in the mission of the company, the evidence-based methods of the programs, and the heart of the people who work behind the scenes to teach others how to live healthier lives.
Erin has been writing and editing professionally for a decade, but has been telling stories through the written word since she could pick up a crayon. Her first piece of content, created at the age of 3, was a self-published, fully illustrated morality tale entitled "Sally the Naughty Dog." She recently married her husband, Tim, an Army medical student who has challenged her to run a half marathon with him in 2012 and who also consistently beats her at Scrabble.
