Ask Sandi

Question: We want to encourage our staff to be more physically active, but don't know where to start. Do you have any suggestions?

Answer: Revamping worksite health must come from the top - so we recommend that you start by getting leadership buy-in and participation. Encourage your top executives to model healthy behaviors like hosting walking meetings, going to the gym at lunch, and taking 10 minute stretch breaks. A CEO who takes the stairs sends a much stronger message than any promotional flyer you can create.
